Energize your professional development with leading-edge skills in experiential modalities – while also taking the option to address your personal development. Plus, continuing education credits for social workers, addictions counselors, licensed professional counselors and psychodrama hours, too!
Karen Carnabucci, MSS, LCSW, LISW-S, TEP, is licensed in the states of Wisconsin and Ohio and provides supervision by personal appointment and Skype for social workers.
The Midwest Training Series in Psychodrama and Mind-Body Therapies is designed for professionals — educators, group leaders, mental health professionals, physicians, nurses, attorneys, clergy, community leaders, community activists, human resource directors, professional presenters, creative entrepreneurs, theater professionals and others who know that “experiencing” offers deeper learning and greater healing than “discussing.”
We will combine diverse action modalities —from classic psychodrama to the Therapeutic Spiral Model to storytelling and the creative arts to the new Systemic Family Constellation Work — to explore human change, creativity, leadership, group dynamics, community-building, experience as education and other professional disciplines.
Karen Carnabucci, MSS, LCSW, LISW-S, TEP, is the main faculty member and co-founder of the training program.
Participants will receive continuing education credits approved by:

Tuition
Tuition is based on the length of the workshop. Full-day workshops are $100 and include certificate with CE credits, healthy snacks and topic handouts. Half-day workshops range from $25 to $35.
Financial aid, discounts and scholarships
A limited number of partial scholarships may be available for full-time students, retirees and others with strong financial need on a first-come basis. Discounts are also available for three or more persons from the same organization.
We also encourage non-profit organizations and to seek grants for training programs of staff. Please contact Karen to learn about other options for financial assistance.
Training location
Training sessions take place in Racine, Wis. , located on Lake Michigan between Chicago and Milwaukee.
For maximum impact of learning and professional and personal growth, it is suggested that trainees enroll in the full series; however, we will consider trainees on a drop-in basis, space permitting.
Hours
Hours vary according to type of workshop. A one-hour lunch break is scheduled for full-day workshops; lunch is on your own or you may bring your lunch. Please be alert to the hours of each training session and plan to arrive on time.
Participants who arrive from a distance may arrange appointments for private or group supervision sessions to supplement the group training sessions. Please ask Karen about this option.
Other
Workshops qualify for continuing education hours as required by many national, state and local licensing boards and professional associations in other professions. Save the course outline and certificate of completion and contact your own board or organization for specific filing requirements.
