Incidents of miscarriage, abortion, still birth and early childhood death are painfully common in families, and this professional workshop at the annual conference of the American Society of Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama in Philadelphia will explore how psychodrama helps identify losses and grieve with the help of surplus reality, role play and other powerful techniques. Systemic Constellation Work, as developed by Bert Hellinger, adds the importance of including the child in its rightful place in the family and relieves pain, guilt and exclusion in current and future generations. See ASGPP for conference details and to register.

Systemic Family Constellation Work is one of the newest healing methods, developed by Germany’s Bert Hellinger, which is now rapidly expanding throughout the world. In this introductory workshop with Karen Carnabucci, MSS, LCSW, TEP, you will learn:

Psychodrama was originally developed by Dr. J.L. Moreno for groups of people. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED, with seven continuing education and psychodrama hours. Tuition is $100 for program, handouts and healthy snacks. Change is possible, but not everyone easily embraces change. In this workshop, we will take a creative look at the six stages of the change process, as outlined in the 1995 book, "Changing For Good" by James Prochaska, John Norcross, and Carlo Diclement. With a variety of action exercises, we will explore how to assess whether or not a person is ready for change – even when he or she says so – and how to guide a person through the process of change. The program is suited for all helping professionals who promote change within their clients or patients, not just mental health professionals. In this workshop, you will learn:
